Bridge Overview Dashboard

Real-time situational awareness at a glance.

The Bridge Overview is the default home screen — navigational data, fuel ROB, active compliance alerts, and watch officer status all in one view. Officers see everything they need the moment the application opens.

Live UTC clock — all entries timestamped at point of signing
The UTC clock synchronises on load and drives timestamps across all sixteen modules. Entries cannot be backdated.
🔔
Active compliance alerts — always visible
Overdue maintenance, expiring certificates, ECA status, and upcoming waypoints surface automatically without manual checking.
👤
Watch officers auto-populated from the schedule
The OOW and watch engineer are identified automatically from the configured watch schedule, removing the risk of incorrect officer attribution.

Reports & PSC Readiness

PSC readiness at a glance. Six printable reports.

The Reports module presents a live PSC readiness dashboard — six key compliance areas assessed against current record status. Six report types generate printable, A4-formatted outputs ready to hand to a Port State Control officer.

📋
MARPOL ORB Report
Full Oil Record Book export with all entries, operation codes, officer signatures, and Master countersignatures. Formatted for immediate PSC inspection.
🔍
PSC Self-Assessment

REDSURV Compliance Reports Dashboard
Oil Record Book — Part I

All nine MARPOL operation codes. Live 15ppm compliance.

The most scrutinised logbook in any PSC inspection. REDSURV implements all nine operation codes defined in MARPOL Annex I, Regulation 17. Code D includes a live 15ppm OWS compliance checker that evaluates six conditions simultaneously as the officer enters data.

🛢
Code D — Live OWS 15ppm compliance panel
OCM reading, distance from land, Special Area restrictions, discharge rate, speed, and alarm function checked in real time. Non-compliant = entry blocked.
Code H — Bunkering records with BDN cross-reference
Every bunkering operation recorded with BDN reference, supplier, sulphur content, and ROB before/after. Forms the ECA compliance chain.
Master countersignature queue
All ORB entries flow automatically into the Master countersignature queue. PIN-authenticated digital countersignature satisfies MARPOL I/17.6.
MARPOL 73/78 Annex I / Reg. 17
REDSURV Oil Record Book — Operation Code Selection
Deck Log — SOLAS I/28

The official ship's log. UTC-timestamped at the moment of signing.

Every watch handover, position fix, ECA entry, port arrival, and incident recorded with UTC timestamp locked at the moment of signing. The entry cannot be backdated or modified after commitment.

Watch Officer auto-populated — OOW filled from the watch schedule based on current UTC time, no manual selection needed
ECA compliance banner — automatic confirmation when VLSFO sulphur content satisfies MARPOL Annex VI Reg. 14
Master countersignature queue — all entries flow into the queue with badge alerts; countersigned within 24 hours
Entry types: Watch Handover, Position Fix, ECA Entry/Exit, Port Arrival/Departure, Pilot On/Off, Incident, Deviation from Route, Weather Observation
Regulation Reference
SOLAS I/28 — Ships on international voyages must maintain an official log.
Retention: 3 years from date of last entry.
PSC: Missing watch entries and unsigned pages are the most common Deck Log deficiencies.
REDSURV v1.4.1 — Deck Log · SOLAS I/28 — Official Ship's Log
Deck Log
Engine Log — DNV-EL

Full engine room running log. ME parameters, fuel consumption, bilge status.

The Engine Log records every watch period — main engine parameters, generator loads, fuel consumption by type, bilge status, and watch engineer attribution. All data cross-referenced with the ORB for MARPOL compliance.

ME parameters: RPM, shaft power (kW), scavenge air, lube oil pressure, JCW temperature, exhaust gas temperatures
Generator loads — DG1, DG2, DG3 individual kW loads, bus voltage, standby status
Fuel consumption — HFO, VLSFO, and MDO daily consumption; cumulative ME running hours; feeds CII calculation
Watch engineer auto-populated from the configured watch schedule — attributed to each entry
Regulation Reference
DNV-EL — DNV Engine Log standard for classification compliance.
SOLAS II-1 — Machinery and electrical installations record-keeping requirements.
PSC: Inconsistencies between engine log fuel figures and ORB bunkering records attract immediate scrutiny.

Garbage Record Book — MARPOL V/10

All 10 garbage categories. Automatic Special Area restrictions. Receipt tracking.

The Garbage Record Book covers all 10 MARPOL Annex V categories (A through J). REDSURV automatically applies Special Area discharge restrictions based on vessel position, and requires receipt reference numbers for all shore reception disposals.

Special Area automatic restriction — Baltic, North Sea, Antarctic, Red Sea: all garbage except food waste is PROHIBITED. Categories blocked at point of entry.
Receipt reference mandatory — shore reception facility name, port, and receipt number required. Receipt retained on board for 3 years.
Incineration records — on-board incineration recorded with incinerator identity, position (must be outside Special Areas and >12nm from land), and quantity
Categories A–J: Plastics, Food Waste, Domestic, Cooking Oil, Incinerator Ash, Operational Waste, Cargo Residues, Animal Carcasses, Fishing Gear, E-waste
Regulation Reference
MARPOL Annex V / Regulation 10 — all ships 100 GT and above, and ships certified to carry 15+ persons.
Retention: 2 years from date of last entry.
PSC: Missing receipt references for shore reception are the most common GRB deficiency.
REDSURV v1.4.1 — Garbage Record Book · MARPOL Annex V / Regulation 10
Garbage Record Book
Ballast Water Record Book — BWM Convention

D-2 UV checker. D-1 geographic validation. Sections A through F.

REDSURV evaluates every ballast water treatment record against the IMO D-2 performance standard — minimum UV dose of 186 mJ/cm². If the reading falls below threshold, the discharge record is blocked. D-1 geographic exchange validation checks all three conditions simultaneously.

D-2 UV compliance checker — UV intensity entered in mJ/cm² evaluated against 186 mJ/cm² IMO minimum (MEPC.300(72)). Entry blocked if below threshold.
TRO neutralisation confirmation — total residual oxidant must be neutralised before discharge. Mandatory field before committing the record.
D-1 geographic validation — three conditions checked: 200nm from land, 200m depth, 95% volumetric exchange. All three must be confirmed simultaneously.
Sections A–F: Uptake (A), Treatment D-2 (B), Discharge (C), D-1 Exchange (D), Accidental Discharge (E), Sampling (F)
Regulation Reference
BWM Convention 2004 / Regulation B-2 — ships 400 GT and above on international voyages.
D-2 Standard: IMO Resolution MEPC.300(72) — UV ≥ 186 mJ/cm².
PSC: Missing UV readings for D-2 treatment are a major deficiency. US waters: USCG requires additional sampling compliance.
